On Saturday we planted seven fruit trees, three apples, two cobnuts, a pear and a quince with five families who lived adjacent to the orchard. A very special thank you to Mark Gittos and VIVID (https://www.vividhomes.co.uk/news/children-fruit-trees) for all their support and the engagement that took place in 2019, to allow this new orchard to blossom.

Wassails and a Talk bring in January 2020

January proved a very busy month for COPSE with a talk to Elmbridge Natural History Society, planting apple trees at Watts Gallery, as well as Swan Barn and Grayswood Forest School (pictured) Wassail. We also took the opportunity to planted the King Harry apple tree (pictured) which was not available earlier in June 2019. (https://copseorchardproject.weebly.com/blog/archives/06-2019)
