This year St. Marks Primary School brought over 20 pupils and teachers to assist with the planting and Roots for the Future gave an educational curriculum-based talk on tree planting and their life-cycle.<br />Thank you to Jenna, Andy, Alistair, Francesca and the School team. As most of our sites have free-draining suitable soils for stone-fruit, rootstock incompatibility could be an issue with some of our stone-fruit trees. We had good numbers, with 10 to 15 residents from around the area, helping at the Queensway juicing on 25th October and then at Parson's Green on 26th October, with lots of lovely unpasteurised apple juice pressed with the residents. We also forgot to mention last month&rsquo;s Collards Lane Allotment juicing (family Bayliss pictured below) on 21st Septemb [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="paragraph">COPSE rounded off the 'Juicing Season' with two events with the fantastic residents of Queensway in Cranleigh and Parsons Green in Haslemere.
