On another beautiful sunny day in May, Claire, Susan and Gareth met at the Puttenham Parish Orchard to discuss changes to the COPSE logo. The original logo, created for us by Brighton-based illustrator Fern Eleanor, features a tree canopy representing the map of Surrey - where the team are based. We wanted to retain this unique quirk but experiment with fonts. Susan, herself an artist, mocked up some different offerings so, over socially-distanced flasks of coffee, we discussed the various versions and agreed on the one you see above.
