A Golden Noble apple tree planted in early spring 2018, succumbed to the summer drought. We replaced this tree with a local heritage variety, Royal Jubilee:
This apple variety is likely to have been grown in the area by market gardeners in the early 1900s prior to the spread of Hounslow and Heathrow !
