Week of Wassail and … A big thanks to all that helped

20/01/23 - Swan Barn, Haslemere
Organised by Haslemere Transition, National Trust and COPSE, with >150 people attending. Entertainment was provided by XR Drummers, Godalming Guisers with fantastic Ren and Daisy providing music after ‘Old Man Apple’ was blessed with Swan Barn cider!

17/01/23 - John Steere’s Orchard, Witley
Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Team helped with restorative pruning of an orchard planted in the 1980's by John, who is now himself in his eighties.
 
15/01/23 - Rosamond, Guildford
COPSE planted a Pixie apple at Rosamund Garden Wassail
 
14/01/23 - Parsons Green, Haslemere
COPSE and Kate Douglas (Waverley BC) planted two Jubilee apples, daffodil bulbs and supported a transplanted apple, with a tree blessing cancelled by heavy rain…! ​
