Green Farm apples went down well at Churt CHaPS (Churt Horticultural and Produce Society), annual produce show with Claire and Susan pressing apples to make juice for members and residents at the end of the show. The following week COPSE purchased an electric mill, which dramatically sped-up the juicing process. It was used at the end of the Swan Barn apple harvest where 3-ton sacks of apples were picked and hopefully next year will speed-up this and other Community-pressing events. Also, we linked-up with Hairy Pigs of Wood Street Common, who took all of our apple scrats for their pigs.
