National Trust Blackdown & Woolbeeding Wednesday team picked several tonnes of apples in early September for two juicing sessions, to help create juice for cider making towards the 2025 Wassail. On 18th September Paul Patton and the Countryside Restoration Trust Green Farm team helped with the juicing, in order to learn how to create apple juice and cider from their own 0.6ha apple orchard in Churt. Next year we hope to help them juice their apples. Then on the 25th September we had a further juicing session this time with Leith Hill National Trust team (below), helping the Blackdown volunteers.
