Orchard Engagement Marathon ending in a Biodiversity Conference

​In February we conducted engagement events at six different sites, attended by over 120 people.


​On 23rd February we planted an orchard for Liphook Parish Council, that included a local heritage apple, the Bramshott Rectory, which arose only 200m from this new orchard space, planted by the grand-daughter of the Rector. 

​We planted another orchard for Haslemere Town Council in a corner of Lion Green, on 25th February. Many thanks to everyone who helped to plant these new orchard spaces.

​Then on 1st March we attended Surrey Biodiversity Conference, with a display to show delegates how orchard-spaces can enhance biodiversity.
